Ph.D. theses at the chair of Retail Management
The topics for a thesis in the Ph.D. Programme aim at delivering sustainable results and are placed within the two main areas of Retail Management and Consumer Behavior.
The responsibilities include
Planning and management of interesting projects with synergies to the dissertation.
Support for lectures held by Prof. Dr. Thomas Rudolph.
Composition of viable scientific papers for publication
Further requirements
Obtain a very good graduation (license, diploma, master) in business administration.
Grades have to be an overall average of 5.0 in the Swiss or 2.0 in the German/Austrian system respectively. (These are the standard requirements for the admission as a Ph.D. student at the University of St. Gallen)
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, interest in applied research and questions in the realm of retailing / retail marketing / strategic management.
Very good eloquence in English and German
SPSS knowledge preferable
