Institute of Retail Management The Institute of Retail Management was founded to continue the long-standing tradition of retail research at the University of St.Gallen. Prof. Dr. Thomas Rudolph and his team focus on retail management and consumer behaviour in retailing. Our research combines scientific rigour with practical relevance to the retail industry. Our various publications, ranging from dissertations, articles in renowned scientific journals and textbooks to retail reports, impart retail knowledge and provide valuable insights into recent developments and trends. Our biennial conferences «St.Galler Handelstag» and «St.Galler Internettag» have evolved into important meetings of the Swiss and German-speaking retail industry. In our executive education seminars, we provide retail managers with sound knowledge of the retail industry as well as pragmatic skills and tools for mastering the challenges in cross-channel management and retail branding. Our research and practical expertise are also reflected in our courses and teaching at the University of St.Gallen. Participants of our retail management courses are well equipped for a successful career in international retailing.
